STAR Campus: Putting experience into practice

At STAR, we have prepared a whole new series of webinars to help you find your way around the tool and make your work more productive and more efficient. As a newcomer to Transit, we will provide you with an overview of the various options on offer from Transit and TermStar. As an experienced user, you will find out new tips and tricks for making better use of Transit and TermStar.

January 2014: Customized Transit – How can I adapt the Transit editor to suit my needs? What is the main thing that a translator wants from a translation memory tool? To translate – and to only see exactly what they need to see. You can therefore customize the Transit editor precisely to suit your tasks, method of working and personal preferences. This webinar explains the elements that make up the Transit editor and how you can precisely adapt these elements to suit your requirements. For translators, either with or without previous knowledge of Transit This webinar is aimed both at participants who have no previous knowledge of Transit and those who already have experience of working with the Transit editor. You are in the right place if you want to become familiar with Transit or want to find out how you can better adapt the Transit editor to suit your requirements.

• 31st January, 10:00: Webinar in English, duration is approx. 60 minutes

Register and participate The webinar will take place online, the number of participants is limited. The webinar is free of charge via voice over IP. As an alternative, you can participate via dial-in phone conference. The resulting dial-in costs will be displayed. You can simply register by sending an e-mail to transit@star-group.net We use the webinar software TeamViewer. Once you have registered, you will receive your login details one or two days before the webinar and you can use these details to access and participate in the webinar.
