STAR Campus: Customize Transit NXT to suit your needs
STAR Campus: Customize Transit NXT to suit your needs
A Happy New Year to all you Transiteers and followers of our blog! Please find below some information about the first 2015 STAR Campus webinar aimed at Transit newbies. Whether you are a translator or a project manager, join this webinar to learn how to tailor Transit NXT to your needs.
How can I adapt Transit to my preferences?
What is the one thing that translators want most from a translation memory tool? The ability to translate text – without being distracted by unnecessary clutter. Transit lets you customize your working environment to your individual projects, methods and preferences.
This webinar explains the elements that make up the Transit working environment and how to tailor this environment to your specific needs.
Agenda
First, we’ll take a look at the dialog boxes you’ll need to use to select your role and project. This is followed by an overview of the Transit user interface. You’ll learn how to arrange windows inside Transit and which layouts work best for which projects.
In the second part, we’ll discuss language pairs as well as options for displaying or hiding certain details. You’ll learn which details are usually best to display and which ones are only required for specific tasks.
